A Book and a Latte: 2012 Challenges

I'm participating in several challenges this year, as well as hosting the 2012 YA Audiobook Challenge. I'll be updating this page to track my progress with them all. If interested, you can see my 2011 challenges here.

I've set a goal to read 120 books in 2012 for the Goodreads Reading Challenge. You can see what books I've read so far this year here.

This year I'm officially participating in the Debut Author Challenge hosted by The Story Siren! Last year I wasn't able to join before the cut-off date so I was an unofficial participant :). I discovered fantastic authors and books through this challenge, so I'm really excited for this year.

The 2012 Audio Book Challenge is hosted by Teresa's Reading Corner. It's no secret that I'm a HUGE fan of audiobooks! I love that I can read/listen to my book while doing mundane chores, walking the pupdog, or whatever. There are 4 levels to this challenge:

Flirting - Listen to 6 Audio Books
Going Steady - Listen to 12 Audio Books
Lover - Listen to 25 Audio Books
Married - Listen to +++ Audio Books

In 2011, I realized how much I love contemporaries, so I thought it'd be fun to join the YA Contemporary Challenge 2012 hosted by Katie's Book Blog and Reading Angel. I'm looking forward to reading new 2012 contemporary releases, and I have several in mind already! I'm challenging myself to read 10+ books (level 2). Here's my list so far:

I will be challenging myself to read and review 12 books in 2012 for the Slay the Read Paranormal Reading Challenge hosted by OtherwhereCo. This will be a challenge, especially the mini challenges that are listed over on the site. Maybe it will be easier than I think, it's just that it seems like I've been in the mood for contemporaries lately! I'll be reviewing both YA and Adult books for this challenge.
